At Camdup Racing we are an American made kind of place. Please, no foreign made vehicles. Also we won’t push the cheap made in China parts on you so we can make a larger profit. It is a shame how many places will do that to their customers. Instead we will do our best to help you get the best parts possible that fit your project’s budget.
Services offered:
Custom power train components and systems.
Tailor made combinations to meet your specific needs. Anything from a mild small block to a radical big block. Carbureted, fuel injected, super charged, turbo, OEM, whatever. Engine management systems such as Accel DFI. Custom fuel, ignition, braking, and wiring systems. We also build performance and racing transmissions to meet your needs. If you want the cheap guys, that’s not us. We are the “fair and honest guys”. And, you will actually see us racing what we sell unlike a lot of the other guys. We regularly race at Gateway, Sikeston, Benton, and all over the Midwest. There are a lot of the “cheap guys” out there. And guess what? You will get the cheap parts, the cheap mechanic, the cheap job all around. There is nothing wrong with getting a good deal on good parts. Just be smart about it and don’t be fooled by the lure of a cheap price with “all the good stuff” just to find out later you didn’t get anything good, at all. It just doesn’t work that way. We have had many of those “cheap guys” units apart for repairs and were amazed at what we found. Our approach is to inform you of what is available and what we recommend based on our experience. Then, based on your input, prepare components that help you meet your goal.
Custom chassis fabrication and upgrades.
We offer chassis fabrication services performed by Mike Weissert. Such as rear suspension “back half”, rear end narrowing, sub frame connectors, anti-roll bars, front suspensions, custom made headers, exhaust systems and roll cages (mild steel or chrome moly). Mike has plenty of skills to offer and his workmanship shows it. You can visit the shop any time and see for your self. There are always several projects going on. General diagnostics and repairs.
With over 25 years of professional experience and plenty of diagnostic equipment, we can diagnose most any concern you may have with your vehicle. We perform major repairs such as engine and transmission rebuilds. And listen up! Let’s talk about transmission rebuilding. Does it seem logical that every transmission type that has hundreds of parts in it should cost the same to rebuild? Doesn’t it seem more likely that some units will be in better shape than others when the time comes that they need service? Or that the transmission may not even be at fault? Having a “menu price” for transmission repairs is not smart for the customer. It seems that the general public may like the safety net of a set price, but having an honest technician evaluate each situation, as needed, is a better way to go. That means most of the time we can, and will, fix it for less than the other guys. Not just charge you full price, every time, no matter what is wrong. That’s how we do it at Camdup Racing. We can arrange towing, if needed. All general repair work is guaranteed. We can work with you even if you may have a service contract. You don’t always have to return to the dealer for service. We can also help you maintain your vehicle and keep it operating at peak performance for years. Most vehicles can last 200-300,000 miles when properly maintained. The key is to stay on top of the maintenance from the beginning. We can keep accurate record of your maintenance for you so that you don’t have to worry about it. Just call Kim to schedule an appointment for every 3000 miles or 3 months. We’ll take it from there.

Go south on 21 from 141. Then, take 1st exit, Old Hwy 21. Proceed about ½ mile and Happy Lane is on the left. Look for the Camdup Racing stickers on the door and window and you are there!
